One thing that may be missing is governance systems in new realms of sovereignty or simply "New Realms of Sovereignty" - digital towns or organizations, special political or economic zones, new nations (e.g. liberland). Those spaces provide greenfield opportunities to test ideas on.
If you haven't already, I recommend the book "The Alternative" by Nick Romeo. There's a really great research done on experiments happening around the world related to democratizing the gig economy, citizens assemblies, etc.
